(born 1976) Michael Pfisterer’s recent work deals with how pictorial space is constructed and how perception is led through imagery and presentation in three dimensional spaces. In various exhibitions and publications he sampled different modes of perception outside native contexts and explored new spaces for images through documentation, structure and recontextualization. Michael Pfisterer is Professor of Visual Communication at the Akademie Mode and Design in Hamburg where he also lives and works.
